Blush life in the 6ix – Toronto Men’s Fashion Week

Hello hello lovelies!

Toronto Men’s Fashion Week also know TOMFW wrapped up yesterday and I thought I would share my little slice of it!  For those who are not familiar with TOMFW it is a wild week of men’s fashion, celebrity shows and parties like no other!

Unfortunately, this year I wasn’t here over the weekend but I did manage to go to the opening party and the Men4Hope Celebrity walk-a-thon, where all proceeds go to the Sickkids hospital through the Kol Hope Foundation.

The opening party was held at Maison Mercer with the “who’s who” in the Toronto lifestyle an fashion scene dancing and of course taking millions of selfies (me included 🙂 )! It was definitely a jam packed event! As seen below I am wearing a suit from Zara similar to this one here. Don’t you love the feeling when you’re trying a bunch of clothes on and then finally you put on an outfit that just feels RIGHT; that is exactly how I felt in this. . . and of course it was MEN’S fashion week after all, so a suit was fitting 😉

There was even a diva light!!!! My friend and I found that STRAIGHT away<3

Later in the week the celebrity show was held at the famous Maple Leaf Gardens, which my darling other half pointed out that there is REALLY nothing more Canadian than a fashion show held in a former hockey rink!

Some of my favourites from the show were Mr. Funny man himself Colin Mochrie from Whose Line is it Anyway?, Michael Hyatt, Toronto’s dragon, Patrick Patterson, power forward for the Toronto Raptors and Model Jack Greystone

It was so nice to see this goofy fashion show that kept things really light and all proceeds were going to a good cause!

Next up you may or may not have heard the news about Toronto Fashion Week (the woman’s show). In July IMG pulled out as the sponsor but recently as Saturday TOM has decided to nurture it back to health reported here. I am very excited to see what will come of it! Do you think there will still be smaller shows for Fashion week in October? Let me know in the comments below or send me a message on social media 🙂

oxox stay chic!
