Did you know that the second language in Macau is actually Portuguese? Of course the first language being Cantonese….. OR did you know that for gambling Macau rakes in more than the famous Las Vegas? Interesting stuff…. When i was in Macau I wasn’t terribly interesting in the gambling however there is so much else the city has to offer.
We nevertheless spent some time in the hotels in Macau, they are quite pretty. We had lunch at one. I don’t know why but watching the noodles being made is really quite mesmerizing.
Another high point was the flowering tea that we were served in the hotel. It is an art form in itself.
Of course a visit to anywhere in Asia is not complete with a stop at a temple. I really do love the smell of incense. It is so calming, it makes you take a second and slow down.
I would highly suggest a trip to Macau, it is something a little different. Also make sure to give the egg tarts a try 😀
